Every cloud may have a silver lining but it might take skill to find it! One essential skill is gratitude for everything. To see “the present” as a gift with an attitude of gratitude is not easy but can be helpful. Acceptance and self-compassion skills will be shared along with how to let go of negative, unhelpful ways of thinking.
There will teachings on limitless joy - especially relevant in the beautiful location of Holy Island. Meditation naturally becomes much more effective as soon as we introduce a genuine feeling of joy and enthusiasm. We spontaneously cease to cause trouble for others and begin to become a truly helpful, decent human being. There will be walking meditation and some daily exercises to help promote spiritual well-being.
The instructions will be helpful for beginners and more experienced Meditators. The aim is to improve our quality of life and strengthen our resilience.
The course will also include an introduction to Emotional intelligence
Through the five simple core principles of emotional intelligence we can begin to improve the quality and richness of our lives. The five core principles are: self-awareness, self-mastery, healthy motivation, and empathy/compassion and social/relationship skills.
The emphasis will be on simple practical guidance.
